On Wednesday October 31 students are encouraged to bring in quarters to get raffle tickets. We will then be viewing all of the pumpkins that the different classes have created and have the option of choosing which pumpkins they would like. At the end of the day there will be a draw to see which student won each pumpkin. Our class is looking forward to seeing all the unique pumpkins and to helping raise money for a good cause!
Just a few reminders as the month draws to an end.
We started talking this week about our monthly book report. More information will be going home this week, but for now here is the outline of what genres we will be reading each month. It is encouraged that the students look ahead and start planning what books they want to read. They should also be thinking of their presentation while reading their book.
I hope everyone had a great summer! This website will be used this year for parents and students to see class announcements as well as specific messages for each grade. There are a few first week reminders to go out to students and parents.
I'm excited to have a great year with the class and hope I can meet all of you at the Open House!
